Revaluation Sbi virtual debit card is giving 2x reward points

Acc to tc,you should get.
But a few one was complaining here couple of months ago, don't know what is the situation now
Yesterday I did a transaction using SBI virtual DC, amount got deducted but transaction failed.

SBI customer care is saying it will get auto refunded in T+1 days.. It has already been 26 hours since the transaction, but no refund as of now..

Is this common with SBI??

I can wait for 10 days, but the transaction was of 20k, so a little anxious😪
Don't worry. You will get your refund tomorrow (or day after tomorrow) night. Mostly my failed txns refund came in 3-4 days excluding holidays with SBI card. Once it failed on Friday and 4th Sat and then Sunday was Holiday. I got it on Wednesday evening. Refund is mostly T+2/3 working days.

You are worried about 20K. Here I had 75K stuck for 10 days once and I was like, kaun complain kare? Aa toh jayenge apne aap. Fir 11th day morning 75K aa gaye. It was a rare case last year because Nippon Life insurance claimed the money on T+2 days and later refunded which usually takes 7 days. Sometime it remain stuck with bank due to technical reason.

This whole thread is not accurate.

- First thing first, official website states "you will not get points when you make transaction using virtual card".
(But, we do get on some websites, Unipay doesn't work as far as I remember)

//Edit: My bad, apparently SBI contradicts their own words, virtual TnC: https://sbi.co.in/web/personal-banking/cards/debit-card/sbi-virtual-debit-card

- Second, the points which you were getting were part of a promotional offer by SBI called 'Rakshabandhan ka atoot rishta'

Which says, you will get 2x accelerated points where x = regular points up to 1000 points (including birthday bonus) can be awarded to the customer and this is how you accumulated your points. However, this offer is no longer available as it got expired on August 19th.

Note: Virtual debit card was working in this offer

You can read more about it here: https://rewardz.sbi/content/rakshabandhan_tnc

//Edit: He is getting points from his old month. He was supposed to get 2x points anyways as birthday month gives 2x instead of 1x.

- Lastly, we have now returned to the regular period, where you will earn 0.25% (physical DC) reward points on transactions.
Virtual Card gives 0.5%.
