Hi Friends,

hp pay app load wallet via credit card which card is having zero charges kindly share your experience about the rewards/CB for this transactions.

FYI my holding cards are SC Manhattan, HDFC Regalia, IndusInd Legend and ICICI Apay as well as LTF Coral.

Guys update as of 6th july 2024:
Recently, ICICI has disable fuel transactions on their fastags. DYOR before loading bulk amt in ICICI tags

Courtesy @Sriim for the ICICI tag holders to enable options of fuel by ICICI tags:
You need to login to ICICI etoll website using your fastag customer ID and password. It will show up fuel enabled yes or no in one of the tag detail menu options

Not sure about the latest update though... Its been two months since i've visited this place.

Last week filled again, no issues. In fact I paid 1000rs extra by mistake, paid 6K instead of 5K bill. Filled adblue for the rest of the amount.

Any one facing issue using ICICI fastag in HP Pay? It was working fine all these while, but suddenly from last month in payment page fastag option was not shown. I delinked and linked again, and selected ICICI fastag option in payment methods menu. But still its not showing after scanning QR 🙁.

One thing i notices in ICICI fastag portal, it is showing Min KYC now. Earlier it was full KYC and i could recharge more than 10K per month, but now its limited, Could it be the reason for HP Pay issue?

EDIT: Logged into iOS version, Fastag option is showing now. In android its not showing 🙁

Yes they usually discourage customers to use hp pay qr code. Many pumps in my area have painted faulty qr codes which don't get recognised or paytm qr codes instead

I have used twice in last month...hp pay with icici fasttag...
otp took some time..had to try multiple times..eventually it was done...they enter the mobile number first, then show a qr code..I scanned it using hp pay and selected icici fasttag balance for payment. had to try it three times...then in the last attempt, I entered the number personally in pos machine. And it worked😊

If its MCC is utility, will HDFC Platinum give 1% too? I'm not sure CC and DC merchant codes work the same.

Any working way of using AMEX MRCC for HP Pay wallet now?

Earlier we had vouchers on Magic pin but not it's out of stock. If available, MRCC can be used.
Else you can directly use MRCC card at HP pumps without any fuel surcharge on ICICI pos machine. Do in multiple of 1500 so you can get 1000 points on four 1500 transactions.

The icici fasttag team has disabled fuel transactions all of a sudden(I had enabled thru portal long back). it shows fuel transaction disabled .
Option to enable is also removed from fastag portal.
raised the ticket , no response till now.
called tollfree they told will get the option in 1 week
Idiots icici fastag Team , useless .
No mail id to escalate the issue.
