Hi Friends,

hp pay app load wallet via credit card which card is having zero charges kindly share your experience about the rewards/CB for this transactions.

FYI my holding cards are SC Manhattan, HDFC Regalia, IndusInd Legend and ICICI Apay as well as LTF Coral.

1% payback + 1% cashback as cash + 1.2% Magnus base + 5% Magnus milestone + 1% debit card = 9.2% - 0.85% charges = 8.35%

Guys update as of 6th july 2024:
Recently, ICICI has disable fuel transactions on their fastags. DYOR before loading bulk amt in ICICI tags

You need to login to ICICI etoll website using your fastag customer ID and password. It will show up fuel enabled yes or no in one of the tag detail menu options

They enter vehicle number on POS and you receive an OTP.

I have always used mobile number. haven't seen them using vehicle number.

These are the tied ones for nil charges

Didn’t tried it due to the headaches of charges and following up for reversal
I used only with hpcl
Heard of idfc fastag also works for fuel but i don’t have it

HP pay is 1% only and i don't consider fuel surcharge waiver as value back as we won't be paying surcharge if we're not using credit card

So usual 4% RPs and 1% in HP pay - 5% value back

Sometimes they don't credit, we have to mail them to get it

Only catch is we always need to refill it with Rs.1000+ to get full 1% as surcharge waiver.

I am holding Axis bank IOCL too --> there Rs.10 is minimum as surcharge --> means if you refill with Rs.200 means --> Rs.200 + Rs.10 + (18% of Rs.10) = Rs.211.8 --> paying 11.8 extra but surcharge waiver will be 1% of i.e. Rs.2.00 so loss will be Rs.9.8

Is there any way to save the card in HP pay app ??? (I am not seeing it anywhere. Might be during 1st transaction it will ask to save)

If not then, it's worst thing to enter the card details again & again.

BOB also surcharges minimum 10+1.8 for any fuel transaction under 400. Above 400 its 1.18 % and will be reversed.

Actually i get more than 5% on BOB.

I usual fill for Rs 2000.
Reward points 24/150*2000=320RPs ~ Rs 80
Happy coins - 80 coins ~ Rs 20
Fuel surcharge (0.85% and no GST if used via HP pay app) - Rs 17
Surcharge waiver (1% and is calculated on the amount charged of card i.e 2017 in this case) - Rs 20.17

So total benefits - 80+20-17+20.17 = Rs 103.17 ~ 5.16%
