Hi Friends,

hp pay app load wallet via credit card which card is having zero charges kindly share your experience about the rewards/CB for this transactions.

FYI my holding cards are SC Manhattan, HDFC Regalia, IndusInd Legend and ICICI Apay as well as LTF Coral.

Guys update as of 6th july 2024:
Recently, ICICI has disable fuel transactions on their fastags. DYOR before loading bulk amt in ICICI tags

Courtesy @Sriim for the ICICI tag holders to enable options of fuel by ICICI tags:
You need to login to ICICI etoll website using your fastag customer ID and password. It will show up fuel enabled yes or no in one of the tag detail menu options

I am facing similar issue in Bangalore , unable to pay at HPCL petrol pumps using HP pay and ICICI Fast tag. After scanning the QR code in HP pay, a 6 digit OTP was supposed to come at my mobile number. Never came after multiple tries. Please advise.

Also couldn’t find any petrol pump in Bangalore city accepting direct Fast tag payments. There is a list mentioned in ICICI web site. Visited 2 of them, don’t accept !!

They will accept direct fastag but sometimes they don’t kept the scanner machine charged and scan the tag
It’s their fault but they say some technical bug

Which one did you try?

Tried the one at HSR near outer ring road. The OTP never came. Reinstalled the app again and did the Kyc. Will try next weekend again and update here

Just look for the Hp pay qr displayed then that pump will be accepting Hp pay
Other option to use wallet money to book hpcl cylinder and use it
U can book for others too based upon their mob no

All the HP Pumps have Paytm machines. In Paytm machine you can directly select ICICI Fastag as payment option and pay by ICICI Fastag.

Yes, there is the problem with HP Pay app in initial. Once the Fastag is mapped successfully, then the transactions go smoothly.

Mostly on pump the Hp pay QR code banner will be displayed u can check for that
Or u can ask the guys over there whether they accept Hp pay
Once u set with a local pump then u can continue with them
Always prefer a company owned outlet for good quality in fuel

the HP petrol bunk opposite Raheja Mindspace accepts HP pay I guess.. Did you check there? I have tried Paytm fuel wallet which works there and I remember seeing ads of HP pay there..

sorry no idea.. but as someone mentioned and based on my experience.. all the COCO (Company Owned and Company Operated) bunks should have the HP facility.. I have seen Hoardings for COCOs in those petrol bunks to create awareness in the public.. just check with the available HP petrol bunks there in Kompally

After new update in app otp is much fast
But update charging all cc for wallet load earlier we had luck with some bank cards
Reg fastag it’s one way to use in hppay app instead of wallet we get amount from either ICICI or idfc tags
Other way pumps can directly debit from tag by paytm machines
