Move from HDFC Imperia to HSBC premier ??

I have a salary account with HDFC.

I am planning to move from HDFC Imperia to HSBC premier?

Does it make sense, advantage, disadvantage? What will I lose?

Also, whats the best way to open HSBC premier account?

Note that couple of downside with HSBC may not be big case to case;

1)Premier CC has joining fees (if anyone recently waived off, do let know here)

2) Hsbc doesn't have IMPS (not a deal breaker but get to know later after opening the account, so best bet is UPI for instant transfer or neft)

I have HSBC Premier and HDFC Imperia. My RM is much better at HSBC, for an example I was in a different country and accidently called him while it was 1:30 AM in India and even then he was willing to help me resolve a very minor query about my cheque book. Do also get invited to events like once every quarter and he calls me up to tell me about them. And most importantly I am able to get premier status accounts opened in different country even if I have never been there(some countries have different conditions though like Switzerland but most should be possible).
What are the kind of events they invite too? Are they similar to Amex Plat’s free premium events?

yeah the mobile app has very limited features and boring too. The internet banking is much better.
Infact, we can't reset debit card pin, cant order check book etc, it has very very basic mobile banking feature.

I have both HDFC imperia and HSBC premier would go with Imperia anyway.

What investments have you done through them?

Support is good. And a lot of things can be handled simply in the app or on netbanking. Which is alway a plus
I just want to know how they treat customers?
Like Indian Banks treatment or developed world’s customer treatment in general??
Because I would like to open an account with Banker who has significant international presence and treats it’s customers with some dignity

Oh. Well you can’t really expect much in that regard since you will still be getting connected to the Indian call center. Definitely one of the better ones but that’s all I can say. Your BM and RM will most likely share their numbers with you and be ready to pick up any time of the day though.

What about when you travel abroad and go to local hsbc bank and tell them that you are an Indian HSBC customer.. how do they treat you ??
This is important for me to know before I open an account with them
