Alumni offers for Premium Credit Cards of various banks

Hi all,

Lately we have been listening about many banks that are providing their Super Premium Cards as LTF to the alumni's of various educational institutes. I'm writing this thread to keep a track of all such offers. Please feel free to add the names and link if you get to listen about such offers.

Existing ones that I'm aware of:
1. HDFC Bank - Alumni - Life Time Free - Diners Black/Privilege/Millenia (based on salary slabs)
2. ICICI Bank - Alumni - Life Time Free - Sapphiro (no income criteria)

This is based on information collected from various sources. The details about these offers can be obtained through existing threads in the TF forum.

Haven't heard about this Axis one. Are you talking about that Axis magnus/select offer that ran for axis salary account holders in March ?

I would suggest not to include that here since it was for limited time and no longer applicable.

After HDFC and ICICI......Axis, Kotak, IDFC, etc. should also be coming up with similar offers!

There's one option which you can explore.

Open burgundy account if your salary is above 3 lacs per month and then get select credit card as LTF.

IDFC has future first account. Its a 0 balance account, comes with VISA Signature debit card. It is for alumni of certain colleges. In my case, they did not verify my college before opening account.

No charges for debit card, sms, deposit, withdrawal etc.. plus they give a visa signature card..

HI... for my organization Axis has lowered this criteria to 2 lacs...I am sure this would be the case for many other organizations. And in few cases Select was given LTF for salary much less than 2 lacs ( 1.5 type)...I suggest check with the bank or concerned dept in your organization.

Ek baar forum par search karna, maybe maine dekha tha kahin. Anyways, if your college was in icici list, toh pakka udhar bhi hoga. Also, i was the first person to open future first account in branch, branch mei idea bhi nhi tha logo ko. She only asked my college, saw that in her list and then opened the account. Koi verification nhi Kiya tha.

HI... for my organization Axis has lowered this criteria to 2 lacs...I am sure this would be the case for many other organizations. And in few cases Select was given LTF for salary much less than 2 lacs ( 1.5 type)...I suggest check with the bank or concerned dept in your organization.

Thanks for reply but on a second thought I thought I'm happy with HDFC services with my salary account but frustrated with axis savings account random charges and then go to manager to revert them. If I take salary with them it would bring more problems to me I guess 😅😅
